For example, if you have issued a ticket and after issuing the ticket something is wrong in that PNR like the name of the passenger or the date of travel, then GDS has a very good feature of ticket void. This facility is available in every GDS, only the commands are different.
In today’s post, I am going to tell you about Sabre Void Command, how can you void a ticket in Sabre, for that you will have to follow the steps given below and note down the command, it will be useful for you in the future as well.
When can you void Sabre Ticket?
Before voiding the ticket, you have to keep one thing in mind that there is a time period for voiding the ticket, if you do not do it before time then you cannot void the ticket.
1 – BSP Ticket Voidation Time Limit:
In BSP, you get time to void the ticket only on the day on which the ticket is issued, you can void the ticket till 11:59 PM on that day, after that you cannot do it.
2 – ARC Ticket Voidation Time Limit:
In ARC, you get time till the next day to void the ticket and if you have issued the ticket on Saturday, then you can void that ticket till Monday 11:59 PM.
3 – Exchange/Reissue Ticket Voidation Time Limit:
If you have exchanged or reissued a ticket, then you can also void that ticket, but for that you get time only on the day on which you have reissued the ticket.
Note - Apart from this, if you exceed the time limit for voiding, then you cannot void that ticket, you can only cancel that ticket and refund it with the penalty.
Steps Sabre Void Ticket Command
We have explained the process of ticket voiding step by step below. You can void the ticket using the command given below and also keep in mind that if you void the wrong ticket in any way, then you cannot issue that ticket again.
Step 1 : First open the exact the same PNR which one you want to void the ticket.

Step 4 : After enter the void command then you need to reenter same command for final confirmation of ticket void.
Step 5 : After void the ticket recheck the ticket status that ticket voided or not as per below information.

Now this is final confirmation that ticket voided because after open the ticket status showing V that means current ticket voided.
Step 6 : Other option to check and verify the ticket voided or not
Only reopen the pnr and open the Ticket number list as per above commands and you check the issued and voided ticket list as per below image.
Step 7 : Now you can check voided ticket status as per below commands.

Step 8 : After the void ticket then you need to Cancel or Remove the Segment form the Voided PNR.
